Retired NBA star, Dennis Rodman briefly responded to the critics who were giving him a hard time about wearing a skirt during a pride parade.
Rodman, 62, popped out in Houston and celebrated Pride Month on Saturday with a surprise appearance at the city’s 45th annual LGBTQ+ Pride parade. He snapped a couple pictures and shared them to his instagram with the caption reading “Love will Always Win🌈Happy Pride #gaypride #loveislove#pridemonth,” Rodman wrote on Instagram, alongside two photos and a video clip showing him greeting parade-goers at the downtown event. After receiving negative comments under the post Rodman took the time to address his haters.
In a recent post on his instagram story which has now been deleted, Rodman said, “Do your research guys,” he wrote over a collection of photos which showed him dressed in different outfits, including his infamous wedding dress, #beenhim.” He hash tagged on the post.
While out at the pride event Rodman spoke with ABC13 and explained why he loves to support the LGBTQ community.
“It’s amazing that we are showing love to the gay community that we love,” Rodman said, while walking the parade route. “They are showing love for the gay community and love for the world.”
