As we previously reported, DaBaby is being sued by Brandon Bills, the brother of the rapper’s former partner, DaniLeigh. He was handed down the lawsuit after he allegedly attacked Brandon back in February. In the complaint, Bills, real name Brandon Curiel, states that DaBaby “aggressively approached” him at Los Angeles establishment Corbin Bowl on February 10 and threatened him “in a loud bellicose manner.”
The massive fight broke out after Brandon decided to confront DaBaby for publicly disrespecting his sister. Some can remember the rapper hopping on IG live and forcing Danieleigh to leave his home with their baby. However, DaBaby claimed he couldn’t tolerate her “toxic behavior,” which is why he asked her to leave. Danieleigh was eventually charged with assaulting DaBaby following the domestic argument; something that didn’t sit well with her brother.
In the now-viral video from the bowling alley fight, you could see Brandon approach Baby before the “Suge” rapper throws the first and his crew gets involved. Despite previously threatening DaBaby online before the fight, Brandon ultimately faced a major beatdown and was left with injuries. As a result of that, he’s now seeking an unnamed amount in damages and legal fees as he claims he suffered assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress from the incident. Now, while he has already got the suit going, apparently it has hit a roadblock as he’s no longer cooperating with police, according to TMZ. The news site reports that although much of the fight was caught on camera, it’s very difficult for police to move forward without a victim. Despite that, the bowling alley investigation remains active… but isn’t going anywhere at the moment. As of now, there’s no word on why Bills isn’t cooperating, but of course, he could have changed his mind following all the backlash.

What Backlash?
To keep you caught up, before the big showdown, Brandon Bills did an interview with Hollywood Unlocked With Jason Lee: Uncensored where he challenged DaBaby to a fight and confidentially said he would win. However, he didn’t… and many people called him out for filing a lawsuit right after he got the work by DaBaby and his team. Mr. Bills has not yet publicly spoken out on this latest update on his case, and neither has his sister.
Meanwhile, DaBaby has other things to worry about, like protecting himself from intruders. As we previously reported, he ended up shooting someone at his North Carolina home last week after someone tried to trespass on his property. Thankfully, the rapper only shot the man in his leg and “let him live.”
