A North Carolina man attacked a teen Walmart employee because his pants were too low along with telling him to “go back to your country” in a video uploaded to Facebook last week.

The video was originally recorded by Mat Weber at a local Walmart in Arden and he says the unidentified male customer started to act aggressively towards the young employee. The man’s wife also called the employee a thug and he pushed him into a shelf before walking away from the scene. Another witness said the man told the Walmart employee that he “took a bullet for this country, show some respect” and started acting aggressively when the young man tried to defend himself.

Weber said he approached the employee to help find a manager so they could handle the intense situation. Supervisors were aware of the incident and a store manager asked to see the cell phone footage.
“He asked to see my video and, upon showing him, he asked me to send it to him. After doing so, we could hear shouting coming from the front of the store. Dozens of people ran to see what was going on. The man in the red shirt seemed to be heading toward the non-grocery side entrance of the store with his wife. Supervisors were instructing customers to stay back for their safety. A loud crash was heard from the entrance as if something was slammed down.”
