Cop Dies Following Violent Pentagon Shooting
Violence broke out at the Pentagon early Tuesday and one officer was left dead amidst a shooting.
The incident occurred at a transit station outside the Pentagon, and a suspect was shot by law enforcement after he stabbed the police officer. Headquarters for the U.S. military were temporarily placed on lockdown following the violence.
Per officials, the area is “still very much an active scene” for investigators, the official said. Pentagon officials “will cooperate fully with local and federal authorities.”
