Colorado Man Pleads Guilty To Forgery After Using Missing Wife’s Name To Cast Ballot For Donald Trump
It is being reported that last Thursday (July 21), Barry Morphew, who had been charged in the presumed death of his missing wife, Suzanne Morphew, pleaded guilty to forgery.
Morphew was accused of casting his wife’s 2020 election ballot for then-President Donald Trump.
Last Thursday Morphew pleaded guilty to forgery and was fined and assessed court costs of $600.
It’s also reported that Morphew had taken a plea deal and in his agreement, he will avoid jail time for his crime.
Now according to court documents in Morphew’s voter fraud case, investigators say he filled out his missing wife’s ballot because he thought Trump could use the extra vote.
The documents said that Morphew spoke with an FBI agent who confronted him about the ballot in April 2021. Apparently, he said, “I wanted Trump to win. I just thought, give him another vote. I figured all these other guys are cheating.”
Morphew also claimed that he did not know that it was illegal to complete a ballot on behalf of a spouse.
Trump ended up losing the state of Colorado to current U.S. President Joe Biden by 14 percentage points.
While Trump has continued to utter out claims about fraud and “rigged” election results, experts and other data say that there has been zero evidence found of his claims. They say nothing has found of any widespread fraud that could have altered the outcome of the elections.

What Happened To Colorado Woman Suzanne Morphew?
Now back on Mother’s Day 2020, Suzanna Morphew was reported missing after she never returned from a bike ride near her home in the Salida area of southern Colorado.
At the time, Suzanne’s husband Barry pleaded for help finding his wife. However, he was soon arrested and charged with first-degree murder and other crimes later in 2021, but prosecutors ended up dropping those charges in April 2022.
It is reported that the prosecutors made their decision after a judge moved to bar them from presenting a good chunk of their key witnesses during Morphew’s scheduled trial — apparently because they continuously failed to follow protocol in turning over evidence in Morphew’s favor.

Reports claim that the evidence the prosecutors possessed and “mishandled” included DNA from an unknown male connected to sexual assault cases in other states.
It is also reported that the evidence was found in Suzanne Morphew’s SUV and that it raised the possibility of another suspect being involved in the case. Per reports, the body of Suzanne Morphew has yet to be found.
