CNN is facing backlash on Twitter after a tweet listed George Floyd’s death as a cultural moment in 2020.

The tweet listed Meghan and Harry’s exit from the Royal Family, Parasite taking over the 2020 Oscars, and A post-production photo of Princess Diana from Netflix’s “The Crown.” However, an illustrated photo of George Floyd was also included in the category. Given the circumstances surrounding his death, Twitter users were not happy with the network’s choice.

One user wrote, “I actually had no words about this for a couple minutes, how’s a man who was publicly murdered a “cultural moment”? Not to mention the image used is a cartoon-ish design, but you used glamor shots for the other 3. Reminds me of a quote I once heard. “One is not like the others.”
