Clothing Site Tee Shirt Palace Under Fire Over White Boys Modeling Black History Month Hoodies & T-Shirts: ‘I’m Blackity Black Black’

We’re only 3 days into 2022’s Black History Month and there’s been so much to catch up on! While T-Pain calls for the end of BHM, clothing site Tee Shirt Palace is under fire over their white models sporting hoodies and t-shirts that read, “I’m Blackity Black Black.”

Referencing a clip in the 1993 movie ‘CB4,’ the site titled the shirts and hoodies, “I Am Blackity Black Black Funny Black History Month T-Shirt/Hoodie.” However, besides the name it was the models wearing the clothing that struck a nerve with social media.

In several listings, the site had young white boys wearing the products. Other shirts with white models include: “MELANIN,” “QUEEN” with a woman’s afro silhouette, and another white boy wearing a “Young, Gifted & Black” hoodie. The site has since removed the controversial photos. #Socialites thoughts?
