On the first day of the school year, James Caldwell (played by Shiggy), a student athlete, gets into a scuffle with Adam finch (played by Joe Barra), one of the most intellectual students at their school, Douglas High. Because of the scuffle, they’re sent to the counselor’s office where they gripe about how one another has life easier than the other. James resides in South Central LA but was able to get into their prestigious high school tuition free on an athletic scholarship. Adam comes from a rich white family and never really experienced struggle or racial profiling. Two very different lives, soon to switch very rapidly. After hearing their complaints, the counselor, Ms. Cigam comes up with a solution. To have them “walk a mile” in each other’s shoes. With a background in witchcraft, Ms. Cigam makes them switch switch shoes, which in return has James & Adam switching bodies to get a better understanding of each other. After the switch, both James and Adam’s friends know that something is up and want to get to the bottom of it. Adam and James just want things back to normal but must first learn to truly appreciate the lives they had before everything got switched around.
The film is set to release towards the end of 2021.
