While the controversial event happened nearly two weeks ago, Will Smith has since apologized for his actions and resigned from The Academy of Motion Pictures; with them, just days ago, banning him from all events for 10 years. Meanwhile, Chris has remained quiet as his brothers Tony Rock and Kenny Rock have been outspoken on the situation, in 100% defense mode for their iconic comedian brother.
Now, The Desert Sun reports that Chris was performing for a live audience at Indio, CA’s Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Friday (Apr. 8). During his show, he told the crowd that he won’t be talking about the controversial moment until he’s been compensated. Essentially, he’s waiting for someone to cough up some major dough for the exclusive statement. He said, “I’m OK, I have a whole show and I’m not talking about that until I get paid. Life is good.
