Chris Noth Fired From ‘The Equalizer’ Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

Chris Noth has been fired from his role on ‘The Equalizer’ after several women accused him of sexual assault.

Universal Television and CBS confirmed the news in a statement after several women came forward and accused Noth of sexual assault. The statement reads, “Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of ‘The Equalizer,’ effective immediately.” Before his termination, Noth portrayed William Bishop alongside Queen Latifah as reported by The New York Post. 

However, Noth will appear in an upcoming episode and the show is currently on hiatus.

As previously reported, Noth was dropped by his agency A3 Artists due to the recent allegations and the ad he filmed for Peleton has also been removed. The 67-year-old actor has continued to deny all claims of sexual assault and called them “complete fabrications.”

“The alleged accounts detailed throughout reading like a piece of bad fiction. Chris has no knowledge of who this individual is and, as stated yesterday, has and would never cross that line.”
