While appearing on the latest episode of ‘The Jason Lee Show,’ Chingy spoke about his four children — including actor Isaiah Russell-Bailey. Following the interview, Isaiah shared a post only praising his mother. He then continued to like comments calling out his rapper father.
During the episode, the St. Louis rapper revealed one of his sons attended school with fellow STL rapper Sexyy Red. The 46-year-old “Right Thurr” rapper left viewers shocked when he admitted that he “started young” and has a son that’s about to be 30 years old. While speaking on his eldest child, he confirmed he has four children: 2 boys and 2 girls.
Host Jason Lee continued to ask why the public seemingly only knows about two out of his four children. Chingy then revealed that his youngest son “is a big actor in California.” He said, “Yeah, he’s got movies on Disney and all type of stuff. Isaiah Russell-Bailey.” Chingy went on to reveal that his eldest son has a son. Thus, making him a grandfather — which he doesn’t wish to be called. Instead, he told them to call him “Pops.”

Following Chingy’s interview going live, his youngest son — whose name he mentioned along with praises — seemingly reacted to the namedrop. On Thursday (September 3), Isaiah took to his Instagram and shared a post featuring him and his mother, Brittany Perry-Russell. She’s an actor, producer, dancer, and choreographer. Captioning the post, he said, “Everything I am, I owe to the woman who has always been there. Grateful for you always #Mom.”
In the comment section, Isaiah appeared to like several comments from social media users praising his mother and slamming his rapper father. Meanwhile, Brittany shared a post to her IG Story asking, “You know what’s a flex? Being the same person in real life as you are on social media.” Also, on Brittany and Isaiah’s production company account, an interview clip went up of Brittany reflecting on being a single mother and raising Isaiah.
One of the most-liked comments, including by Isaiah, read, “Idk why that Man got on a huge platform to big up a child’s success that he had no hand in. That was very weird.” Another liked by Isaiah and others read, “We all didn’t even know. So, we understand sir; nothing else needs to be said. Awesome beautiful mother!!”
