An actress has warned her fans in China that her nose tip has rotted away and fell off after a botched plastic surgery.

Gao Liu,24, revealed the shocking photos to her five million fans on the social media platform Weibo and said the operation has left her with constant infections and necrosis of the nose. Gao said she underwent surgery at the Xi Shi Shi Guang clinic in Guangzhou after a friend introduced her to a plastic surgeon. As reported by the Daily Mail, the four-hour surgery required doctors to remove cartilage from Gao’s body and reshape it to fit onto her nose in October 2020.

Gao added that she hoped the surgery would improve her acting career but it did the exact opposite. The infection led her to remain hospitalized for two months and she lost 400,000 yuan in work and faces a fine of two million yuan for breaking her acting contracts. Additionally, she has to wait a year to have reconstructive surgery due to the critical state of her nose.
