Chicago Man In Custody After Dangling Off Trump Tower, Demanding To Speak With POTUS
On Sunday night (Oct. 18), a Chicago man was taken into custody after he was spotted dangling off of the Trump Tower, around the 16th floor, demanding to speak with POTUS or else.
Per Chicago Sun-Times, the man, in his 20s, scaled the building using a climbing harness, and was seen dangling off a balcony, threatening to kill himself if he couldn’t speak to President Donald Trump or the media. The tragic event that went on for hours. After police arrived, they sent a negotiator to talk to the man to safely ground him. More than 13 hours passed before the man was “peacefully” removed from the building and taken into custody.

Subsequent to the incident, traffic increased and streets were blocked surrounding the tower as authorities tried to safely ground the man. While some onlookers gathered in fear of the man jumping, others believed it was part of a stunt for the upcoming ‘Batman‘ movie, which citizens have seen being filmed around the city lately.
UPDATE: Situation resolved peacefully by Negotiators. Suspect in custody. No injuries.
