Cher and Amber Rose’s ex Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards are still going strong, despite people’s initial thoughts that their relationship was nothing more than a publicity stunt. The “Believe” singer, who is one of the best-selling female artists in history with sales of over 100 million records, appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” this week to share some insight into her blossoming romance with the record label executive.
Cher expressed that “on paper, it’s kind of ridiculous,” seemingly referring to the couple’s 40-year age difference, but that certainly hasn’t stopped her from starting a full-on relationship with AE, who she had nothing but positive things to say about. “In real life, we get along great,” she said, as she shared some of her favorite traits about her beau.
While the 76-year-old says she usually doesn’t give praise to men who simply didn’t deserve it, when it comes to AE, she called him “fabulous,” “very kind,” “very smart,” “very talented,” and “really funny.” She concluded by adding that he also happens to be “quite handsome,” giving a clear indication that this relationship could very well be the real deal.
As previously reported, Cher stunned fans when she was first seen out and about with AE back in November after photographers spotted them dining out at Craig’s in West Hollywood. While their outing seemed innocent at first, the pair were then snapped holding hands together, sparking a frenzy on Twitter, with people speculating whether they were really dating.
Since their public date night, Cher and AE have gushed about one another on their respective social media accounts, with the legendary singer going on to set the record straight once and for all to her fans, saying that she was happy and in love with AE. Cher also revealed that when she and AE often “kiss like teenagers,” insinuating that their make-out sessions are far from boring.

Back in August, AE came forward and admitted to cheating on his ex Amber Rose, who is also the mother of his three-year-old son, Slash. The infidelity ultimately led to the ex-couple calling it quits, but it’s believed that the two are still on good terms with one another for the sake of effectively co-parenting their offspring.
It was just last month when AE’s longtime friend Ryan Fluis told the New York Post how he’s not surprised to see his new relationship with Cher because “he knows how to kiss a**. Always did. So in a way it would make sense he’d wind up with someone like Cher.”
