Chadwick Boseman’s wife Simone Ledward has been appointed as the administrator of the late star’s estate.

According to a court order obtained by People, Simone is now the personal representative with limited authority of her Boseman’s estate. The judge ordered her to submit a $939,000 bond along with the final distribution of the estate by 22 February, 2021.

As we reported, Chadwick Boseman’s wife, Taylor Simone Ledward, filed probate documents asking a judge to make her an administrator to the late actor’s estate.

The documents note that Boseman “died intestate,” which means he did not have a will despite being aware of his diagnosis for four years. As we reported, he passed away from colon cancer on Aug. 28. He was just 43 and is also survived by his parents.

Following his passing, his loved ones shared a statement to his fans,

“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much.

“From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
