UPDATE: Cops Arrest Texas Teen Who Boasted About Spreading Coronavirus
As we previously reported, a teen identified as Lorraine Maradiaga went viral after threatening to spread coronavirus while on Snapchat. The clip concerned many folks in Carrollton, Texas including police who asked the public’s help to locate the 18-year-old.

She could be heard in the clip saying,
“I’m here at Walmart about to infest every (expletive), because if I’m going down, all you (expletive) are going down,” she says. “If you want to get the coronavirus and (expletive) die, call me,” she threatens viewers. “I’ll meet you up and I will shorten your life,” the teen continues, coughing as she speaks.
Now, the Carrollton Police Department did manage to get in contact with the teen’s family and said they were fully cooperating. However, they encouraged them to have their daughter turn herself in.
According to the latest update, Lorraine Maradiaga was arrested late Tuesday morning and charged with making a terrorist threat, a third-degree felony, for posting the alarming videos to Snapchat Sunday, police said in a statement.
Maradiaga did admit to police that she does not have COVID-19. However, authorities do not have any proof that she tested positive.
During an arraignment later Tuesday, Maradiaga’s bond was set at $20,000 before she was transferred to the Denton County Jail. According to the news site, as a condition of her bond, the teen was ordered to self-quarantine for 21 days upon release from custody as a precaution.
