The kissing couple has called it quits! Both Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have announced that they are breaking up after two years of dating.

They took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the news with fans through a joint statement: “Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever,” they wrote. “We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.” They signed it Camila and Shawn.
Mendes and Cabello started dating in 2019 and things appeared to be going strong as there wasn’t really a big sign of a breakup. The two became the most talked-about couple when they first started out over their hilarious make-out videos.
Mendes and Cabello first met back in 2014 but remained pretty good friends until their connection turned romantic years later.
