A California man has been arrested after federal investigators alleged he sent death threats through Facebook to the stepmother of one of Nolan Wells’ friends.
According to TMZ, Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce has been charged with interstate transmission of a threatening communication. Investigators allege Dumarce used the Facebook account with the handle “yaeyae962” to send a series of threatening messages to Judge Ashlee Cole. Federal charging documents reportedly include copies of several of the messages allegedly sent from the account.
Authorities Detail Alleged Threats
According to the charging documents, one of the alleged messages stated:
“There will be a package coming to your guys’ office in the next few days. It’s gonna blow you away when you see it. LoL. Probably best to have the boys there to see as well.”
Investigators also allege the messages included threats to strangle Judge Cole’s sons and contained photographs.
Investigators Traced the Account to the Suspect
Federal investigators said they identified Dumarce by tracing email and IP address information associated with the Facebook account.
According to the charging documents, authorities also cross-referenced identifying information, including the account holder’s date of birth, during the investigation.
Dumarce has been charged with interstate transmission of a threatening communication. The charge remains an allegation, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
