Brothers Hired For Jussie Smollett’s Hate Crime Are Jobless And Depend On Food Pantries For Survival

The Nigerian brothers who were hired to participate in Jussie Smollett’s hate crime scheme opened up about their job hunting struggles and relying on food pantries for survival.

In an exclusive with Page Six, Abel and Ola Osundairo are facing difficult times by being “forced” to eat at local food pantries and can’t book any acting jobs. Their lawyer, Chicago defense attorney Gloria Schmidt stated her clients will testify in court against Jussie Smollett if the case makes it to trial due to the consequences they suffered after their arrests:

“It’s been really hard for them, they’ve tried to kind of jump back into the life they had and they couldn’t,They were getting 4 to 5 auditions a month before, that’s completely dried up. Their talent agent dropped them… they’re eating at the food pantry. It’s not going well for them.”

The pair received the news on Tuesday about Smollett being indicted on six counts of felony disorderly conduct but will not take action until the public knows their side of the story.

“This is the end of the beginning for them, they know there’s a long road ahead and there’s a lot of things that need to happen before a jury or judge finds they’re truthful. They have no real skin in the game, they just know their role is to be honest and tell the truth about what happened.”
