Reality TV star Brittney Taylor of the popular show ‘Love and Hip Hop’ was arrested this month and charged with assault after allegedly beating the father of her children with a bat.
A close source told TMZ that Afeez, the father of her 2-year-old and 8-month-old was leaving his apartment with his kids when Brittney allegedly said something to him that he ignored, and apparently that set her off.
Afeez told cops that Brittney was so heated that she socked him right in the face while his kids were present. Afeez reportedly left the residence. However, cops say Brittney followed him out with the bat and hit him, leaving him with a bloody face. He ended up in the hospital with several injuries which needed stitches.
As the news site points out, Afeez recently made a post on social media talking about getting assaulted, and many fans believe he’s referring to the same incident involving Brittney. As a result of all this, she turned herself in last week after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She has since been charged with two counts of assault, one count of endangering the welfare of a child, as well as one count of criminal possession of a weapon.
While she has yet to release a statement about the incident, she seems to be completely unbothered.
