Spears terminates her entire security team after her wedding day became a nightmare when ex-husband Jason Alexander stormed her home

The pop princess recently made the decision to immediately fire her security team and replace them with a new group after Alexander’s stunt on Thursday as reported by TMZ. Jason Alexander broke into Spears’ home last week while live streaming from his Instagram page and demanded security guards to allow him to see her. He was arrested shortly after.

Alexander was charged with vandalism, trespassing, and battery but a judge granted Spears a three-year restraining order and added a felony stalking charge to Alexander’s case during the arraignment.

Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, said in a statement that he hopes Alexander’s sentence prevents future copycats from committing the same act.

‘I give a lot of credit to the Ventura County Sheriff and the Ventura County District attorney who are clearly taking this very seriously. Personally I am outraged by what happened. Now, quite rightly, (Alexander) is charged with felony stalking and he’s being held under $100,00 bail as a result.’

Spears and Alexander were briefly married in 2004 after tying the knot at a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. However, the marriage was annulled after her family expressed their disdain for the wedding stunt.

“They told me if I would sign the contracts – the annulment – they would let me and Britney continue our relationship, and if we felt the same way in six months, they would give us a proper marriage. So I had no reason to believe otherwise,”

Jason Alexander’s criminal history since the wedding annulment

Currently, he has an outstanding 2016 arrest warrant in Napa County, California after being accused of stealing a sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet, worth $2K,  from a woman who rented a room to him. Alexander reportedly pawned the jewelry for $180. In 2021, he was taken into custody at an airport in Nashville after attempting to skip the security line and enter an unauthorized area. He was charged with a misdemeanor but was later released.

Alexander previously had an arrest record for stalking and harassing a female victim in Tennessee after violating an order of protection aggravating stalking. He was given 12 months of probation and ordered to undergo random drug testing along with mental health screening. Additionally, he posted an Instagram live for 25 minutes where he discussed his arrest and his ex-wife.

“What’s happened to me should never happen to anybody. I did nothing wrong but I got freaking treated like … and still! With news articles being printed about the situation. This is f***ing gnarly, dude.”

One of the security guards who was patrolling the wedding also filed a lawsuit against Alexander.
