Bow Wow Says He Wishes He Stayed With Snoop Dogg, Claims He Never Had Work Chemistry With Jermaine Dupri
Bow Wow recently answered a lot of fans’ questions on Twitter about being signed to Death Row and his work relationship with Jermaine Dupri.
A Twitter user asked the rapper, “If you could go back and change anything from the past, what would it be?” Bow Wow responded saying, “Stayed w. Snoop and never signed to anybody else.”
Fans seemed to be shocked by that response with one Twitter user commenting back saying, “Lol oh nah you and jd chemistry is different…SoSoDef was perfect for u” Which lead Bow Wow to respond saying, “Me and jd have no work chemistry. I ain’t work with that boy in year’s. He do him and I do me.”
Bow Wow then went on a Twitter rant to explain himself and told fans, “Snoop is the best thing that happened to me. If it wasn’t for him none of y’all would know me. That’s the only bug homie I got. He gave me a chance. Everyone else was just add ons to what we had started.”
In his Twitter rant, the rapper said if you know him then you know him and Jermaine Dupri didn’t have the best relationship. This isn’t the first time the two have had a public falling out back in 2018 Bow Wow threatened to leave So So Def and seek other opportunities.
Which lead “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta,” Da Brat blasting Bow’s decision to take his music to other labels besides So So Def.
“[Bow Wow] is going to different record labels,” she said. “To me, that’s kind of like a slap in the face. That’s not loyalty. When the chips are down, you stick with your f—ing people.”
