Bow Wow Releasing Final Album With Snoop Dogg’s Death Row Records: ‘I’m Closing My Music Career Out Where It Began’
While doing a Q&A on Twitter early Friday morning (Feb. 25), Bow Wow says he’s planning to release his final album on his “uncle” Snoop Dogg‘s Death Row Records label. He says, “I’m closing my music career out where it began.” He also says he’s down to make new music with Chris Brown.
Even though Bow told us about five years ago that he was retiring from music then, he might actually mean it this time. The 34-year-old was asked when was he going to collaborate with Snoop, his mentor since age 5, next. Bow wholly stated, “Spoke to snoop last week. Very soon. My plan is to put my final album on death row and close my music career out where it began. Im tryna do the d wade and come home and close it out.”

As a refresher, Snoop is credited for giving Bow his rap name “Lil’ Bow Wow” back in the early ’90s. Before linking with Jermaine Dupri and signing to his So So Def label, Bow was Snoop’s certified protege and appeared on his 1993 debut album ‘Doggystyle,‘ in a series of skits. Due to internal label disputes, Bow never officially signed nor dropped an album with Death Row; but, he was always heavily associated. #Socialites, are you here for this?
