Boris Johnson Out Of Intensive Care Amid Coronavirus Treatment
After being admitted into intensive care this Monday (Apr 6), British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has now been cleared to move amid his coronavirus treatment.
Medical workers have sent him back to the regular ward at St. Thomas’ Hospital in Central London, where he’s set to continue treatment for COVID-19.

Wholly, his office explained, “The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery. He is in extremely good spirits.”
Furthermore, Johnson, who’d tested positive and was receiving treatment at home, was placed in the ICU three days after his symptoms worsened.

Although Johnson has moved out of the ICU, he will remain in the hospital for the foreseeable future, as he recovers. He is the first head of state to contract the virus.
Currently, there are over 61,500 confirmed cases of the virus in the United Kingdom, with over 7,100 deaths.
