It’s being reported that the body of slain Philadelphia rapper PnB Rock is ready to be released to his family. The reports arrive after the rapper’s brother, PnB Meen, went on social media with a post and delete, blasting the medical examiner’s office, claiming they were “going against our religion.”

Body Of PnB Rock Will Be Released To Family After Rapper’s Brother Blasts Medical Examiner’s Office For ‘Going Against Our Religion’
PnB Meen previously wrote, “We been having trouble getting my brother’s [body] back to Philadelphia. The [city] of Los Angeles claiming they have some type of law going against ours as Muslims. Now I have no clue when his Janazah. It’s not right yo. It’s going on a week. Prayers up. I got you big bro, and ya daughters.”
Prior to Meen’s post, his mother left Philly to Los Angeles after she was notified that her son had been shot and killed on Monday (September 12).
The rapper’s mother headed straight to the medical examiner’s office to identify her son’s body and request for him to be released to the family.
Rock’s mother demanded that the rapper’s body be handed over immediately due to religious reasons — as Meen had alluded to when speaking on his brother’s Janazah, or Muslim funeral ceremony. Rules state that a burial is started within 72 hours, plus autopsies are against traditions.

However, tensions began to rise after the family was told that their request for immediate release would not be processed. Subsequently, it is reported that Los Angeles Police Department officials had to call into the Los Angeles Coroner’s office to further help mediate the situation and keep all parties calm.
It was reported that the medical examiner’s office had declined to immediately release the rapper’s body because his death is now a part of a larger homicide investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, etc.
Additionally, despite it going against the rapper’s religion, it is also reported that the medical examiner’s office did indeed conduct an autopsy, as it is law in California.
The autopsy proved that the rapper’s death was ruled as a homicide, citing that he died from a gunshot wound to his back/chest areas.

As we previously reported, the rapper was gunned down while dining inside of a Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles restaurant in South Central, Los Angeles, California.
The rapper was dining with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang when the incident occurred. Investigators say the rapper was a victim of a fatal armed robbery. Rest in peace, PnB Rock.
