Blac Chyna isn’t done with her defamation lawsuit against the Kardashians just yet. The socialite learned she had lost her $100 million case last week when Judge Alarcon ruled in favor of the famous clan, saying none of the Kar-Jenners had defamed Chyna or interfered with her contract at E!. In court, Chyna argued that Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian sabotaged the return of her reality show, Rob & Chyna, following a physical altercation with her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian in December 2016. The jury appeared to have seen things differently and decided that Kris and her daughters would not be liable to pay Chyna any damages.
Her attorney Lynne Ciani filed a motion to appeal the ruling, which was subsequently denied, prompting them now to take the matter to the Second District Court of Appeal, Radar Online reports. Lynne believes that the judge’s clerk became a conflict of interest due to rumors circulating they had taken photos with the Kardashian family during a secret meeting. “I have never moved to disqualify a judge for cause … in my entire 32-year career as a litigator,” she stressed in newly filed court documents.

She emphasized how the judge’s clerk appeared to have gotten very “chummy” with the Kardashian’s attorney Michael Rhodes, and their chat appeared to have been overly friendly. If that wasn’t enough, though, Lynne wrote in her motion that the clerk “unabashedly and even giddy informed me that she was asking [Rhodes] if her adult daughter could meet the defendants in a private meeting” since his daughters were huge fans of the family. Upon information and belief, it was rumored that [the clerk] and her adult daughter secured autographs and/or photos with the defendants.”

Chyna’s lawyer noted in the court documents that she was completely stunned at the audacity of the clerk, who is claimed to have shown little to no interest in hiding his biased view in the case — from their actions, it was clear they had sided with the Kar-Jenners, she alleged. “Angela White deserved a fair trial in a court of law and she did not receive a fair trial.”
As previously revealed, Chyna was convinced that because of emails that were sent between the Kardashians and executives at E!, a second season of Rob & Chyna was pulled due to the family’s longstanding ties to the network up until deciding to jump ship and sign a new deal with Hulu last year.
The court heard that Chyna held a gun to Kardashian’s head, which Rob, who also testified, said had not been the first time such an incident had occurred between the two. He said that the relationship with his former flame wasn’t genuine, nor did he ever feel like they were truly meant to be, and the many altercations that occurred during their one-year romance seemed to have proven his point.
