Bill Cosby appears to be in more legal drama as five women have now come forward, accusing the actor of sexually assaulting them in a new lawsuit. As per TMZ, the court documents reveal that Bill allegedly took the accusers under his wing and mentored them as they tried to jumpstart a career in Hollywood back in the ‘80s and ‘90s — but instead of helping them reach their full potential, Bill is said to have had other plans in mind.
The women, Cindra Ladd, Lili Bernard, Eden Tirl, Jewel Gittens, and Jennifer Thompson all assert that the 85-year-old, who was arguably one of the most powerful actors in showbiz at the time, made them false promises and allegedly ended up taking advantage by reducing them to partake in forceful sexual activities.

Lili, who appeared in an episode of “The Cosby Show” back in 1992, claims in the court docs that she was assaulted by Bill on a handful of occasions. During one particular incident, she says she was drugged by the Pennsylvania-born star before being raped, and when she woke up in the midst of the altercation, Bill allegedly stifled her with the use of a pillow.
On another occasion, she also recounted how Bill had pushed her down a set of stairs after a heated quarrel before threatening to ruin her chances of working in Hollywood. She added that he also kicked her out of a home she’s presumed to have been staying at with the actor and decided not to go to the police because she was incredibly fearful of her well-being if she did get law enforcement officials involved.
Eden Tirl echoed similar words as she detailed her own past encounters with Bill, such as the time she was ushered back into his dressing room on the set of “The Cosby Show,” where the room was locked and Bill allegedly pressed his penis against her back as he whispered into her ear, “This is making love.”

She alleges that he also placed his hands on her breasts and kissed her neck without asking for her consent — again, she decided not to say anything because of Bill’s powerful status not just on the show but in showbiz altogether.
Bill was infamously sentenced to 10 years in prison back in 2018 for his past sexual assault trial but was granted an early release last year due to a violation on the prosecutors’ side regarding an immunity deal that has previously been set in stone by a former district attorney.
The actor’s rep, Andrew Wyatt, tells TMZ that his client isn’t worried about the new lawsuit, adding that the women who are taking him to court are not new accusers. Bill is confident that he’ll be vindicated when the case commences in the court of law.
