Bia found herself in hot water with the Barbz after liking a comment on TikTok telling Nicki Minaj to “take notes.” The “Can’t Touch This” rapper uploaded a video to the social media platform over the weekend as she teased a new song to her followers, along with the caption “Real Rap Back.” This prompted someone in the comment section to write, “Nicki Minaj take notes” — a remark that ended up being liked by Bia.

When the Barbz took notice, they went into meltdown on Twitter, demanding answers from the Massachusetts native on why she would like a comment that was clearly being shady towards Nicki. Well, on Monday, Bia didn’t hesitate to clear up the confusion, stressing that she must have accidentally hit the like button and that Nicki was her “sister for life.”

“Barbz please don’t pin her against Nicki,” one Twitter user wrote. “She probably liked by accident or misinterpreted the reply. Y’all don’t get tired of fighting with every other female rapper?” Bia replied to the tweet, writing, “100% that’s my sis 4L this is so lame,” followed up with, “Definitely was a mistake.”

Even members of the Barbz fan group had to check one another for going ever-so-hard on Bia for unintentionally liking the shady comment. It was just a few days ago when Bia had found herself in another Twitter spat when she responded to a fan page that was pressing her for answers about a potential collaboration with Latto and Cardi B.

“You still ain’t answering the question. Do you have a collab with Cardi b or Latto? Can you clear up the rumors?” the Twitter user wrote. Bia cleared the air, sharing that while she didn’t have a collaboration in the works with either female rapper, she didn’t owe an explanation to anybody on the matter.

“I don’t and honestly I don’t have to explain ANYTHING to you BC I DONT CARE NOW Carry on Idgaf if u like me or not,” she said.

A collaboration with Latto could seem problematic to the Barbz, who witnessed a lengthy back-and-forth tirade between the “Big Energy” hitmaker and Nicki last month. The two fell out when Nicki had voiced her opinion on the Grammys deciding to shift her song, “Super Freaky Girl” from the Rap category to Pop, as she declared that if her track was being considered too Pop to be a contender for that division then so should Latto’s “Big Energy.”

“It was done to decrease my chances of winning awards for Super Freaky Girl,” Nicki claimed on Twitter following the Grammys switch-up. “It was done to remove me from the category that they don’t want COMPETITION in!!!!!!!”

“They are all scared to death of the success of that song & thought it would be super EASY for them (like it’s been for the last few years) but ‘SFG’ is such a global smash, certain members are AFRAID to keep it in the competition.”
