Former Real Housewives star Bethenny Frankel is weighing in on all of the latest news about Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann who not only got hit with a $1.1 million tax lean but also decided to end their marriage.
As we previously reported, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum filed for divorce this week from the former NFL star after 11 years of marriage. She listed April 30 as the date of their separation. In a TikTok video shared with Frankel’s 1.3 million followers, the 52-year-old slammed the former couple for their spending habits. “They’ve always been people who seem like they’re spending more than they have,” Frankel said.

“He’s on a football salary, she’s on a Housewives salary, and they’re spending like the f–king planes going down. And the thing is, you can’t spend more than you make.” Frankle went on to say that she believes Kim and Kroy simply got caught in the trap that other alums fell into which is spending a bunch of money to keep up with their appearances.
“It’s the old Housewives model to get on the show, make no money – spend, spend, logo, logo, car, car, house, house, bankruptcy, foreclosure – because you can’t f***ing keep up your writing checks you can’t cash – and it’s gross,” she said. “It’s like, what’s wrong with America? When the whole real estate bubble crashed, that was because people were just, just financing their houses and the whole thing imploded. And I heard Kim and Kroy owe a million dollars each, and it’s like, ‘Good – pay the IRS!’ She continued: “You gotta f***ing pay – you wanna play, you gotta f***ing pay.”
Frankle ultimately believes that since the couple has brought “everybody into every single detail like they’re perfect … everyone gets humbled real quick.” She added the couple should just expect to be heavily scrutinized.
“You invited us in when it was going good and it looked like a fairy tale – or made us believe it was – well, guess what? We’re coming out with you, too,’ she said. “So no one’s gonna f***ing respect your privacy at this time because there is no privacy at this time.” Frankel captioned the explosive clip, “Pay your bills. Don’t front & stunt. All show & no go #payyourbills,”
More On Kim And Kroy’s Financial Problems
For months there have been rumors that their famous Atlanta home was in foreclosure and put up for auction. Despite the family denying those claims, a new report came out this week claiming that they owe $1.1 million in taxes. To make matters worse it was also said that they reportedly owe the state of Georgia $15,000 in unpaid taxes from 2018.
While dealing with their financial woes, apparently the two were dealing with problems in their relationship. TMZ reported that Zolciak filed to end their marriage this week citing “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

The Don’t Be Tardy star is reportedly seeking primary physical custody of the children as well as joint legal custody. It was also said that Kim is reportedly seeking spousal support and is expected to legally restore her maiden name.
Kim and the former Atlanta Falcons NFL star first met in 2010 after crossing paths at the Dancing With Atlanta Stars charity event. They tied the knot one year later in 2011. They share four kids: Kroy Jagger, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia. Zolciak is also mother to Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21, who she had from a previous relationship. Kroy adopted Kim’s daughters when they were minors.
While neither of them has publicly spoken out on these reports, TMZ has noted that they are still living together despite their separation.
