HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To Karl Kani & Pretty Little Thing’s Second Collection

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for the second exclusive drop for the Karl Kani x Pretty Little Thing collaboration.

Karl Kani is back with another collaboration with Pretty Little Thing, and Hollywood Unlocked was in the building to give you an inside scoop.

Kani who is a master designer teamed up with the brand before, but this time he took a whole new direction.

He says that this collection was inspired by the ’90s with pieces like newspaper print layouts, oversized pieces, and a lot of solid colors with Karl’s logo printed on them.

What makes this collection special is the fact that PLT is known to be a woman’s brand, but Karl took it up a notch creating pieces that are unisex.

HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To Cardi B’s Surprise Birthday Party

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building as stars came out to Los Angeles to celebrate Cardi B’s surprise 26th birthday party!

Cardi B celebrated her 26th birthday on October 11th, but on Friday night it was time to turn up with a surprise party at Beauty and Essex.

It was really a star-studded event as names like Kourtney Kardashian, Tiffany Haddish, Mona Scott Young, Jennifer Lewis and so many more came out to celebrate the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.

By about 3:00 AM Saturday morning, Cardi made her way up to the party with Offset, she spotted all the guest and said “Oh s–t” as she realized what was going on.

Cardi wore Moschino from head to toe in a pink and white wrap around dress with matching tights and hat which was fitting given designer Jeremy Scott was also one of the guests.

By the time Cardi and Offset made it to their table, it was time for gifts. Offset gifted Cardi a matching diamond necklace and bracelet that said Kulture.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful wife, you know what I’m saying?” Offset said. “God is good. We just had a beautiful daughter, Kulture. We just had a daughter so I got you this little gift.”

Cardi being very surprised responded, “Oh my God! This is too much!”

HU Exclusive: Giving You the Keys To Episode 13 Of “So You Think You Can Dance”

Hollywood Unlocked was back for another week of  “So You Think You Can Dance” where we talked to the final four about going into the finally show!

Now in its 15th season, Monday night’s episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” didn’t end with an elimination for episode 13.

This week, the final four contestants had their last chance to win over America for the final votes of the season leading to the crowing of America’s favorite dancer.

Jensen Arnold, Hannahlei Cabanilla, Genessy Castillo, and Slavik Pustovoytov each had to memorize four group dances as well as a final solo. With the judges having all positive comments for each dancer, the decision might be a hard one!

Jensen who is making her third appearance on the show has come so far to make it to the top 4. She first auditioned for season 12, and then came back for season 14. Both seasons she was not selected to go to the live show. However, she used those no’s and turned them into a yes and has made it to the very end.

As for Hannahlei, the 18-year-old University of California Irvine student quickly made the decision to audition as soon as she was of legal age to be on the show! Each performance, the judges have given the tiny dancer great feedback and according to judge Vanessa Hudgens, she makes her proud to be a Filipino.

Genessy started out the season not even telling her mother that she was auditioning, but has blossomed into a great dancer and overcame her doubt of self-confidence. She was even compared to Jennifer Lopez by judge and show producer Nigel Lythgoe. having Slavik as a partner for the whole season and Hannahlei as a roommate, Genessy says having that added support always helps!

The last man standing Slavik who had rough performances last week turned that all around for 5 amazing dances heading into the final round. With the exception of his ballroom dance, judges are amazed that a freestyle hip-hop dancer has made it this far in the competition.

HU Exclusive: Giving You the Keys To Episode 12 Of “So You Think You Can Dance”

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for Episode 12 of Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” and we have the exclusive interviews right here! 

Now in its 15th season, Monday night’s episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” sent four dancers to the next round leaving just two episodes left before a winner is crowned. 

But before that happened, the final six performers took to the stage and delivered amazing performances.

Jensen Arnold, Hannahlei Cabanilla, Genessy Castillo, Jay Jay Dixonbey, Darius Hickman and Slavik Pustovoytov were each partnered with an all-star for their first dance. They then were put in pairs for the nights’ final dance. 

Jensen was paired with Jay Jay to perform a Tahitian style dance. Genessy and Slavik performed a salsa piece. Hannahlei and Darius performed an Argentine Tango as a first-time couple due to their original partners being eliminated last week! 

The one dance that stood out came from Darius who’s performance had a powerful message behind it.

His dance represented those who may be having a hard time trying to fit into what society deems as normal. His message was to be who you are and feel comfortable with yourself no matter what anyone has to say. 

With the votes being from last week’s episode, two dancers were sent home. Darius and Jay Jay did their final dance and did not proceed to the final four.  That left Jensen, Hannahlei, Genessy, and Slavik who advanced to next week’s episode where there will be no eliminations leading into the final show.

Celebrities filled the UCLA Pauley Pavilion For the $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game and Hollywood Unlocked has the exclusive! 

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building on Tuesday night as celebrities and hundreds of fans packed out the UCLA Pauley Pavilion for the $50K Charity Challenge Celebrity Basketball Game.

The teams consisted of athletes, actors, comedians, and social media influencers coached by Andre Drummond and  Eric Dickerson. All these people were brought together under one roof to support not just one, but multiple amazing charities.

There were so many people in attendance who got to meet stars like Blake Griffin and Maria Menounos, Floyd Mayweather,  Kendra Wilkinson, Terrell Owens, Tekashi 6ix 9ine, Rocsi Diaz, Laura Govan, Angel Brinks and the list just keeps going on and on.

During halftime, fans enjoyed performances from Sawettie and Tyga who brought out Iggy Azalea.

When talking to the players and celebs in attendance, they all had the same message about giving back to charity. It does not matter where you start or how you start, just find something that is close to your heart and give your time. It’s not always about giving money!
