Ariana Grande Reaches Out To Help After Black-Owned Business Sorella Boutique Gets Destroyed During L.A. Riots

The popular black-owned business, Sorella Boutique was one of many stores vandalized during the L.A. riots over the weekend.

While the owner, Heather Sanders has expressed that she is heartbroken over the incident, she has managed to stay positive through it all while still showing support to the protestors who have been demanding justice for George Floyd and to end police brutality.

Popstar Ariana Grande, who has been on the frontlines during these protests out in Los Angeles has personally reached out to Sanders to see how she can help the Boutique. Sanders’ sister, Whitney wrote on Twitter: “Ariana Grande just messaged my sister and asked how she could help Sorella Boutique. WOW. She told her she couldn’t even accept anything from her,” Whitney explained. She went on to say, “But we thank you from the bottom of our hearts how active you been during these times, you are [a] great human being @arianagrande.”

“For those who don’t know Sorella Boutique is a black-owned business owned by my sister that is located on Melrose in LA; It was looted last night but we feel no anger towards the protestors,” Whitney added. “They have every reason to be ANGRY! We are with you, we’re angry too.”

Before concluding she said,

“I pray for all of the protestors’ safety during these times and appreciate people like @ArianaGrande that are supporting black-owned business/being active/present at protest. Prayers for the world. 🙏🏽 WE WILL PREVAIL AND COME BACK STRONGER THAN EVER #BlackLivesMatter.”

According to Sanders’ latest Instagram Story, the store is currently being cleaned with the help of L.A. residents. Her fiancé, King Trell and his friends have also posted up in front of the store to make sure it does not get destroyed again.
