Lawd! #Socialites, get a load of this! Ari Fletcher and her former friend Tuson Jewell are dragging each other online after Jewell accuses Fletcher of again lying about buying him a car for his birthday back in July.
While celebrating Tuson Jewell’s July 7 birthday, Ari Fletcher gifted him $20,000. On her Instagram Story, Fletcher posted a video of Jewell unwrapping an oversized check for $20,0000.
The gesture quickly went viral online, with many users praising Fletcher as a real and true friend. However, things came to a screeching halt when Tuson Jewell went online and claimed he was starting the processing to purchase a car with his $20,000 and found out that the funds were nonexistent. He went as far as to create a GoFundMe, claiming he was “heartbroken” and “betrayed” by his close friend. He titled the fundraiser page, “Help Tuson Recover from a Heartbreaking Betrayal.”
On the GFM page he wrote, “I never thought I’d be in this position, but I’m reaching out for help after a heartbreaking betrayal. My ‘best friend’ promised me $20,000 for a down payment on a car as a birthday gift. Trusting her completely, I went ahead with the start of the car purchase, only to have her not give me anything.”
Jewell continued, “Despite my best efforts and hopes, I DID NOT receive ANY payment. Actually, after the cameras stopped rolling and I did my heartfelt speech followed by a heartfelt text, her response was, ‘I love you too , but I have a disclaimer.’ She then went silent. After that, I received a call and I was told it was really actually $10,000.”
He concluded, “She wanted to tell me but they said she couldn’t risk not getting a good reaction out of me for the show and the internet. In the end, I received $0.00 from ‘my rock.’ It was all for clout and the media to benefit her financial gain and reputation. Now your generosity can make a world of difference. Any contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. I am so very grateful for your support and kindness during this challenging time.”
In addition to the GoFundMe, Tuson Jewell announced on his Instagram that he planned to release a song called “Lie 2 You,” which would be him telling his truth about the incident with Ari Fletcher and more.
Since then, on Saturday (October 12), Ari Fletcher revealed that she bought her niece a brand new paid-off car. However, the beautiful news was trumped by critics calling her out online, including her ex-friend Tuson Jewell. The two started going back-and-forth and Fletcher was forced to pull out receipts to clear her name of any wrongdoing towards Jewell.
Responding to a social media user attempting to call her out for faking the funk with her ex-best friend Tuson Jewell, Ari Fletcher said, “Wrong! I sent the money to the dealership and a mf tried to get a car in a CPN and I had no idea of that sh*t because that’s f***ing illegal and they voided the application and sent me my money back. Find y’all pissy a** somebody to play with.
Jewell replied to Fletcher and said, “WRONG! Girl bye. Car got canceled because they never got payment! But we can let you run with this!! Question tho, they sent the money back and you kept it? So, is it a gift? Or was it some ‘partial’ YouTube payment? Since we answering questions. Either way $20k became $0.” He added, “This is a complete joke. Just give me what you say you was going to give….like you holding money and dishing it out how you want…. talking bout a CPN. No babes, it’s Rare Smoke LLC.”
Fletcher then dropped an audio recording and captioned it, “This you on the phone with the lawyer, car dealership and bank. I had to open up a claim because you tried to do fraud and almost got my money completely took from me! I got the WHOLE thing recorded. Stop looking for sympathy and stop lying on me b*tch. Go fix yo life!”
Fletcher then fired off again and said, “33 years old begging. I offered you a space in my warehouse to start your own podcast you didn’t want to you wanted to do ‘Dinner with the Don.’ I got your teeth done. I got you on ‘The lmpact ATL,’ and had to beg because they didn’t want you on the show as main cast so we got you paid more. I promoted your business, bought you jewelry, then we got you a quarter million dollar deal to be on my new show. Like you ungrateful as f**k! Go get a job and leave me the f**k alone.”
She concluded, “I got all your messages you said you wanted to end me and everybody would believe you cause you close to me. You threatened to tell all my personal business. You talked about me like you been plotting on me. People like you scare me!!!!.”
