Android Phone Users Considered “A Turn Off” For Potential Dating Partners

A new dating survey revealed that owning an Android phone is the biggest turn-off for potential partners.

The survey asked 3,000 people what were their biggest turn-offs while looking for a potential partner and said that owning an Android was the most common answer for the year, Dating app POM conducted the survey and they added that the two other answers were “not learning how to drive” and “commenting on celebrities’ social media posts” as reported by Metro UK. 

‘So, with so many of us having weird and wonderful turn-offs that put us off a person, we wanted to find out the ultimate list of 2021’s most common icks. Our aim at POM is to help our users navigate the sometimes scary dating world. We hope this amusing list can help singletons improve their chances of finding the one, even if that does mean they need to change their phone.’ said founder Vihan Patel.

Several other answers included wearing gym attire to a date, dirty nails, singing the wrong lyrics to songs, wearing a face mask under their nose, speaking in slang, laughing at your own jokes, and getting food stuck in their teeth.

The survey interviews singles from age 18 to 55 and all genders, sexual orientations.
