Amazon Pulls Shoes From Site Using N-Word To Describe Color
Per TMZ, Amazon has pulled a British line of men’s shoes from its site after the third-party seller used the n-word to describe its color.
The seller, Florence Shakespeare, listed its leather Oxford shoes on the platform, boasting multiple colors, including “n*****-brown.” While the rest of the description featured normal wording, “Occasion:Whether you are working, driving, wedding,Business or other casual lifestyles it is a great choice to wear,” the remaining bits appeared as if the listing itself was a “racist gag/scam.”

Since reaching out to the largest online retailer, the publication received word back that the site had pulled the item, citing, “All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who do not will be subject to action including potential removal of their account. The product in question is no longer available.”
Furthermore, this isn’t the first, nor the last time, controversial and offensive products have hit the site. Previously, we reported on the face masks listed depicting George Floyd’s final moments, a cocaine Santa sweater, and a “Daddy’s Little Slut” t-shirt on a young child model.
