Amazon Offers To Help Biden Administration Distribute Coronavirus Vaccine
Now that the Trump administration is out, Amazon has reached out to the Biden administration and offered to help distribute the coronavirus vaccine.
In a letter written to Biden, Amazon Worldwide Consumer CEO Dave Clark revealed that the company is willing to use its resources to help vaccinate 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of Biden’s administration. The letter is dated Wednesday.
“Congratulations to you and Vice President Harris on your inauguration,” the letter reads. “As you begin your work leading the country out of the COVID-19 crisis, Amazon stands ready to assist you in reaching your goal of vaccinating 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of your administration.”

The letter also noted that Amazon’s 800,000 employees, who are considered essential workers, should also receive a vaccine. This also includes Whole Foods.
“We have an agreement in place with a licensed third-party occupational health care provider to administer vaccines on-site at our Amazon facilities,” Clark added. “We are prepared to move quickly once vaccines are available. Additionally, we are prepared to leverage our operations, information technology, and communications capabilities and expertise to assist your administration’s vaccination efforts.”
Many emphasized the consumer giant’s offer coming the day Donald Trump left office.
