Amazon has increased its reward to $50,000 for any information regarding nooses that were found at one of their warehouses in Connecticut.

Originally, a $25,000 reward was offered by developer RC Anderson LLC after the nooses were discovered several weeks ago at the warehouse in Windsor. Authorities said one noose was spotted by a construction supervisor on the second floor of the site on April 27 and it leads to an anti-discrimination class after employees were notified.
Several days after the discovery, police were notified again after more nooses were found at the warehouse. Amazon was also notified of the situation and added another $25,000 seeking more information about the incident.

“Hate, racism, and discrimination have no place in our society and are not tolerated in any development associated with Amazon — whether it be under construction like this one, or fully operational,” a rep said to TMZ. Currently, the ropes are being investigated and tested through a crime lab and the FBI is aware of the situation but it is unclear if they will be a part of the investigation.
