Amanda Bynes Shares A Message To Her supporters After Filing To End Her Conservatorship
Amanda Bynes posted a video to her new Instagram on Monday to thank fans their support after she filed to end her conservatorship.
“What’s up, Instagram? Amanda Bynes here,” Bynes, 35, said in the video posted Monday. “My court date is coming up in two weeks. I want to thank you all so much for your love and support. Peace out.”
As we previously reported, Amanda officially filed a request to the Ventura County Superior Court in California on February 23, to end her nine-year-old conservatorship, A court hearing has been scheduled for March 22, 2022. Following Page Six’s report, Amanda’s attorney David A. Esquibias told People: “Amanda wishes to terminate her conservatorship. She believes her condition is improved and protection of the court is no longer necessary.”
She requested to terminate both the conservatorship of her person and estate in a petition submitted at the Ventura County Superior Court in California. In addition to that, the actress filed a capacity declaration, as California requires all conservatorship cases to have updated records about a conservatee’s mental state from their physician, psychologist or religious healing practitioner.
