Amanda Bynes Conservatorship Ending, Judge Tentatively Rules For Her Freedom
Following suit after Britney Spears, Amanda Bynes will soon see the end of her own conservatorship. With a hearing scheduled for Tuesday morning (Mar. 22), Judge Roger L. Lund is tentatively ruling for her freedom; citing “the conservatorship is no longer required and that grounds for establishment of a conservatorship of the person no longer exist. The court intends to grant the petition for termination and order the conservatorship of the person of Amanda Bynes be terminated.”
So long as no one objects, in less than 24 hours, Amanda will be free of her conservatorship that she was placed under back in 2013; which reportedly came after a series of bizarre episodes, supposedly stemming from Amanda’s bipolar disorder. The actress affirms that she’s been sober for several years, due in part of seeking support via alcoholics anonymous, and programs akin.

As we reported earlier this month, Amanda filed documents to end her conservatorship, and she did so with the “full support” of her conservators — which happen to be her mother, Lynn Organ Bynes, and father Rick Bynes. Now, ahead of Judge Lund’s ruling for Amanda’s freedom, we’ve learned that she’ll be 36 in April and is gearing up to move out of sober living and into her own home with fiancé Paul Michael.
