Infamous drug kingpin Alpo Martinez was reportedly shot and killed in a drive-by shooting Saturday evening.

Martinez was struck several times in the chest while driving his 2017 Dodge Ram on W. 147th street and Frederick Douglas Blvd shortly after 3:20 a.m. in The 55-year-old was rushed to  Harlem Hospital but investigators said he couldn’t be saved.

According to Hip Hop Wired, Martinez was famously portrayed by rapper Cam’ron in the film ‘Paid In Full’ where it told the story of drug kingpins Azie Faison and Rich Porter. He was also released from prison and returned to Harlem after confessing to killing Porter.

Martinez operated his drug empire in Washington D.C. during the late ’80s and early ’90s and was arrested in 1991. He confessed to police about his crime organization and exchanged information about Wayne “Silk” Perry in order to take a plea deal for a 35-year prison.
