Aaron Carter Says He’s Expecting a Baby With Girlfriend Melanie Martin!
On Tuesday, Aaron Carter hopped on IG Live to make a big announcement. The singer shared that he and his girlfriend Melanie Martin are expecting their first child together!

During his Live, the 32-year-old said: “Obviously I have a baby on the way,” he told fans after showing what appeared to be a positive pregnancy test. “I’m going to be a busy father for sure,” he said while adding, “this is the official announcement. We’re pregnant.”
The exciting news comes just less than a month after Melanie was arrested for felony domestic abuse following a physical fight at Aaron’s Lancaster, California home. Despite that, two tell PEOPLE Magazine that they are thrilled to be expecting their first baby.
“This is what we both want,” the musician told the mag. “We both were trying for it. I’m just focused on the future and being a dad. I want to be a good dad. I’m focused, my music career has been doing really well and touring, having my clothing line out, all that stuff I have going for me that isn’t necessarily just music. Family is most important to me.”
Carter also told PEOPLE the charges against Martin have been dropped and confirm the two are back together.
“We just realized that we love each other,” he says.
