Oop! Actress Gabourey Sidibe pulled up to Raven-Symoné’s podcast and confronted her about some things she was allegedly told involving people wanting to be “friends” with her.
While appearing on a recent episode of Raven and her wife Miranda Maday‘s ‘Tea Time’ podcast, Sidibe boldly told Raven, “I didn’t think you liked me. I was actually here, like, ‘What’s up?’. I’m gonna be on whatever time you on.” Raven cackled at the comment. She laughingly added, “Not the New York coming out.”
Sidibe joked back, “What’s up? What’s up?” Maday asked, “Why do you think she didn’t like you?” Sidibe recalled, “You treated me like you didn’t like me.” Raven accepted accountability and replied, “My bad.” While explaining where this unreal beef stemmed from, Sidibe said, “I was told that you made some people promise to not be friends with me.” Raven immediately scrunched her face and asked, “Who?!”
Then, Sidibe made a face and Raven said a name that editors censored. Sidibe replied with another person’s name that editors also censored. Maday gasped and looked at Raven with her mouth agate. As Raven remained stunned and in disbelief, stating, “No,” Maday said, “Babes! Little sh*t-stirrer.” Raven looked back at Sidibe and said, “So, you know [censored name] is a sh*t-stirrer too, right?”
Maday continued to tell Sidibe, “We have to tell you things offline about that situation.” Sidibe added, “I remember we went to a restaurant in Chicago and you were just, I don’t know.” Raven interjected, “A b*tch?” Sidibe continued, “I felt like you were put off.”

Maday chimed in to defend her wife’s past actions. She said, “I was gonna say this just really quickly.” Raven disclaimed, “So, that you know me.” Maday continued, “Raven can be shady and Raven can be…” Sidibe interjected and acted as Raven, “‘Oh why would you think I didn’t like you?’ ‘Cause you didn’t like me.” Raven clarified, “No, I didn’t know you.” Maday continued to defend her wife, stating:
“When Raven doesn’t know somebody—now, from like observing her behavior—she can come off very cold and very distant. But, it’s not from a place of disliking, it’s from a place of not knowing.”
Raven added, “And having a lot of chips on my shoulders. Which I’ll explain to you offline.” Maday continued, “But, I will tell you. I like you. You can come around. We can be friends.” Sidibe laughed and said, “Thank you,” while Raven threw her head back and laughed. Maday continued, “We can go d pilates together.” Raven agreed, “Yeah.”
Finally, later in the episode, Maday asked Raven, “Do you feel clocked?” Raven admitted:
“I appreciate her for calling it out. Because, listen, I’ve been in this industry for a long a** time. Gonna come up against people that I’m not friends with, that I was friends with, that I have feelings about, or whatnot, and during that time, who knows? You know, I probably was a little bit of a b*tch. But, I own up to it.”
