New York Governor Kathy Hochul says she’s “not playing any games” as she continues dragging Nicki Minaj, whom she claims has been poisoned by President Donald Trump.
As we previously shared, Minaj took to her X account on Wednesday (October 28) to slam the incumbent Democrat. She is currently running for re-election as the Governor of New York in the general election on November 3.
In a series of posts, Minaj slammed Hochul, who is seeking her second full term in office. Minaj called Hochul an “evil, wicked, and vile curse of a woman,” and declared, “She will not escape God’s wrath.” In her first tweet, Minaj wrote:
“Kathy Hochul is an evil woman. The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.”
Then, Minaj responded to a clip of Hochul previously claiming:
“There are Black kids, growing up in the Bronx, who don’t even know what the word ‘computer’ is. They don’t know. They don’t know these things. And I want the world opened up to them because when you have their diverse voices, innovating solutions through technology then you’re really addressing society’s broader challenges.”
Ultimately, Minaj continued to drag Hochul and then endorsed Hochul’s Republican opponent, Bruce Blakeman. She wrote:
“HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU NEED TO SEE & HEAR FROM THEM?!! HOW DARE YOU AS BLACK PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIS VILE WICKED CURSE OF A WOMAN? HOW DARE YOU AS CHRISTIANS?! SHE STAYS SILENT ON HARM BEING CAUSED TO THE INNOCENT & THIS IS WHAT SHE THINKS OF YOUR CHILDREN! Vote BLAKEMAN! @NassauExec.”
Then, Minaj responded to another clip of Hochul. In that one, Hochul reportedly tells Black parishioners not to spend their rebate checks at a liquor store. Minaj wrote:
“So not only does she keep horrible company & laugh at the demonic things her friends do behind the scenes to people who aren’t as politically powerful…Dear God, help us.”

Later that night, Hochul shared her initial response with reporters. She told Minaj to “get outside and get offline a little more.” Hochul continued to claim that Donald Trump has poisoned the rapper’s mind.
On Thursday (October 29), Hochul was again asked to address Minaj’s commenrts, along with her initial response to the rapper. Hochul was also asked if she would be here for Cardi B endorsing her. The idea was first proposed by messy and shady social media users.
Hochul said she’s not here for those kinds of games, but did double down on Minaj being poisoned by Trump. She also hilariously highlighted the fact that Minaj “supported her back when [she] ran for Lieutenant Governor the last time.”
