Donald Trump Responds To #TrumpDead Rumors
President Donald Trump finally responded to speculation about his health in a late-night post on Truth Social.
Before wrapping up his day, he wrote on Sunday: “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.” In true Donald Trump fashion, he added a link to his Truth Social post from another user making disparaging comments about former president Joe Biden’s health.
This was Trump’s second attempt at shutting down the rumors that had flooded the internet just days before. As previously reported, Trump’s absence from the public eye last week led many online users to assume his health was declining or worse — that he was dead. The hashtag #TrumpDead even started trending across social media.
Adding fuel to the fire, Trump had not been seen publicly since Tuesday and wasn’t scheduled for any weekend appearances.

JD Vance Steps In But Makes Things Worse
Even with Trump staying quiet, his running mate JD Vance tried to reassure people in a recent interview that week. Instead of calming nerves, it only added to the chaos.
“The president is in incredibly good health,” Vance told USA Today. “He’s got incredible energy.”
When pressed about whether he could step in if something ever happened to Trump, Vance didn’t hesitate.
“Yes, terrible tragedies happen,” Vance said. “But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people.”
He added:
“And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days.”
That answer only set social media on fire even more. People felt like Vance was speaking in past tense, which made the conspiracy theories grow louder.
Trump Finally Spotted Again
After days of silence and internet speculation, Trump was finally spotted again on Saturday. Cameras caught him en route to his Virginia golf course.
The sighting came just in time, as #TrumpDead jokes and conspiracy theories were spreading out of control. Some users even started comparing it to Tupac and Elvis conspiracy culture — claiming “Trump sightings” were now going to be a thing.
Why Are People Talking About Trump’s Health?
Speculation about Trump’s health has been brewing for months. While some call it karma, others see it as real concern.
Earlier this year, photos circulated online showing Trump with swollen ankles and bruised hands. That sparked fresh debate about whether the former president was hiding medical problems.
In July, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt disclosed that Trump, now 79, had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. The condition is common among older people and happens when veins in the legs struggle to carry blood to the heart.
At the time, Leavitt stressed there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease. Still, that didn’t stop the internet from speculating and making jokes.
Donald Trump may have shut down the #TrumpDead rumors for now, but questions about his health continue to swirl. His post claiming he “never felt better” might stop the trend temporarily, but the internet doesn’t let go of stories like this easily.
While Trump is putting these rumors to rest, what do you think? Is this just another internet overreaction, or is there more to the story? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
