Dj Vlad has issued an apology to Taraji P. Henson after he didn’t agree with her speaking out about being underpaid in Hollywood.

As we previously reported, Dj Vlad went viral after his interview with Math Hoffa when they spoke about Taraji’s recent comments and said “Here’s the bigger problem, no one wants to hear a millionaire complain that they didn’t get more millions you’re already a millionaire. Taraji lives in a 6 million dollar house and she’s worth 12 million dollars. Nobody wants to hear Vlad complain about money,” he shared.

Now in a new interview with Michael Jai White, Vlad took the time to apologize for those comments he made about her. In the clip posted to his YouTube channel Vlad can be heard saying, “first of all I want to say I am a huge Taraji P. Henson fan in terms of her acting I have probably seen every film that she’s ever been in and I can honestly say that she’s killed every role. I also want to apologize for what I said in terms of her having a $12 million dollar net worth and she lives in a $6 million dollar house and that most people don’t want to hear rich people complain that they can’t get an extra few million. That was a cheap shot somebody close to me pointed that out recently so I apologize to Taraji for saying that.”

If you remember, the actress spoke with Gayle King during a SiriusXM interview and addressed if the rumors about her quitting acting were true.

“I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do (and) getting paid a fraction of the cost,” she said, dabbing her eyes. “I’m tired of hearing my sisters say the same thing over and over. You get tired. I hear people go, ‘You work a lot.’ Well, I have to. The math ain’t math-ing. When you start working a lot, you have a team. Big bills come with what we do. We don’t do this alone. It’s a whole entire team behind us. They have to get paid.”

During a SAG-AFTRA Foundation interview on Dec. 19, Henson explained how she had to cut ties from her team after playing the role of Cookie Lyon in the hit tv drama “Empire.” According to Forbes, the series was the “most valuable show” on television, bringing in $125.5 million in ad revenue in 2016. The drama aired from 2015 until 2020, and Henson slammed her team of not getting her more roles and endorsements. “Everybody had to f—kin’ go. Where is my deal? Where’s my commercial? Cookie was at the top of the fashion game. Where is my endorsement? What did you have set up for after this? That’s why you all haven’t seen me in so long. They had nothing set up,” Henson shared.
