According to recent reports, after T-Swift attended a recent Kansas City Chiefs game to see her rumored new NFL boo Travis Kelce play, his football jersey sales have risen nearly 400 percent!
As we first reported back in July, Travis Kelce tried to pass his number to Taylor Swift at one of her concerts. He even made her a personalized bracelet and was eager to present it to her, but he ended up getting disappointed when she declined to meet him. Feeling bad and taking it personally, he speculated that she may have been mad and holding a grudge after his team beat her favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, in the Super Bowl.
At the time, he said, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

Despite the setback, Kelce remained passionate and optimistic about meeting T-Swift in the future. Well, two months later, rumors began surfacing of Kelce and Swift possibly dating. Because of the social media storm, Kelce ended up addressing the rumors.
In an interview on ESPN’s ‘The Pat McAfee Show,’ Kelce revealed that he “threw the ball in her court” and was waiting for her to take the next shot in their “relationship.” He said, “I threw the ball in her court and told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit. We’ll see what happens in the near future.”
He also explained that he didn’t mind the gossip, noting, “It’s life, baby. I threw it out there.”

Days after Travis Kelce’s interview, Taylor Swift was spotted at the football player’s recent game, sitting alongside his mom, Donna. In addition to attending the game on Sunday (September 24), Swift was seen leaving with Kelce side-by-side, after he and his team, the KC Chiefs, beat the Chicago Bears game 41-10. The unexpected pairing caught everyone’s attention and now it’s resulting in tons of dollars for everyone getting a cut of Travis Kelce jerseys being sold everywhere.
Recent reports claim that after T-Swift attended the baller’s recent game, merch sales have skyrocketed. Jerseys for the Kansas City Chiefs’ No. 87 player are flying off the shelves. Since Sunday, Fanatics, the league’s official e-commerce partner, revealed just how much the jersey sales have spiked. They said, “Travis Kelce was one of the top 5 selling NFL players and saw a nearly 400% spike in sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites, including NFLShop.com.”
