Comedian Watch Jazzy, real name Jasmin Brown, is setting her comments on fire after posting a new video online asking why some women ‘feel entitled’ to the money of the men that they’re sleeping with.

Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday (September 20), Jazzy posted a video polling her followers and asking why some of her fellow women feel so comfortable believing they deserve access to the pockets of the men they’re smashing.

In her caption, she wrote, “Besties, I really hope you don’t take this as a judgment post. I really just want to give perspective because I used to think the same way. 🤍 I want to see you in healthy relationships that aren’t rooted in entitlement and survival. 🙏🏽 “

In her video, Jazzy said, “Besties! What’s up?! Listen, I’ve got to say this! A lot of people are going to get mad at me, but I’m just gonna say it. I want to speak to a particular group of women, and the question is: Why do you feel so entitled to the money of the man that you’re having sex with? Why do you feel entitled to his money? Real question. This is not a judgment question. This is just a real question.”

Jazzy proceeds to again ask, “Why do you feel entitled to his money? Because you’re having sex with him?” The comedian then imitates different instances and says, “‘Girl, I just seen him $30,000 at the casino. He can buy me that $18,000 watch. It’s just $18,000. I’ve seen him blow it.'”

Jazzy then responds to this hypothetical instance and says, “You know what he was doing? You know what that was called? Doing what he wants to do with his own money! That’s what!” She then admits that she was once in the position of the “particular group of women” that she’s questioning.

The comedian says, “Because this is the thing, I used to think just like that. Before I started making my own money and was kicking it with n***as for lunch dates and little bullsh*t like that, knowing that I was broke as hell. When I started making my own money, my whole life changed. I remember one time, I got so mad at this guy because he spent $5,000 at the Blackjack table in 10 seconds. I’m telling my friend, like, ‘Oh, well he should’ve asked me if I had food in my fridge before he spent all that money. He didn’t even ask me if I was straight.’ B*tch, you knew you ain’t had no food in your fridge before you went out. And why is it his job? ‘Cause he’s f***ing you? Girl, gone. You’s grown.”

Jazzy added, “And I know y’all going to talk sh*t about my relationship. ‘Oh, well you’re with a n***a with money.’ Yup, and he’s with a b*tch with money too. B*tch, period. And when you make your own money you realize that the relationships that you have, a lot of them, are out of survival. So, when you have your own, you’re with people because you really want to be.”

Jazzy concluded, “Anything my n***a do for me is icing on the cake because I take care of myself. The real flex is being with someone because you want to be, not because you need them to survive.”
