After filing for divorce FIRST from husband Ralph Pittman, it seems like Drew Sidora is getting ready to put everything on the table.
Initially, reports claimed that Pittman made the big move to end their marriage after nearly nine years. However, updated reports note that the actress actually beat him to it as she filed 61 minutes before him. She stated their marriage was “irrevocably broken.”
In her amended complaint obtained by @PEOPLE and filed in Gwinnett County Superior Court on Wednesday, Sidora claims that she “simply cannot take [Pittman’s] continued blatant disrespect and mental abuse any longer.” In addition to that, Sidora claims Pittman [allegedly] committed “repeated uncondoned adultery during the marriage” and even “allowed his multiple paramours to have direct contact” with her so that they could “flaunt” their relationships with him, PEOPLE notes citing the docs.
Furthermore, Sidora outlined one instance where she claimed that a woman had “the unmitigated gall and audacity” to not only screenshot “‘sexting’ messages” but also sent them “directly” to her and Pittman! After confronting her estranged husband about them, Sidora said that’s when he suggested they attend marriage counseling where he “professed his love” for her.
Unfortunately, that didn’t help as Sidora went on to detail how Pittman’s “cruel treatment” had “accelerated and gotten progressively worse” last month. In the filing, she claims Pittman allegedly “grabbed her cell phone out of her hand” which caused her “to fall to the floor.” He then “literally peeled the phone out” of her hand “aggressively.” Shockingly she goes on to detail how Pittman refused to give her phone back and screamed at her while letting Sidora know that he paid for the phone bill and it belongs to him.
She noted in the filing that she called the police but they did not arrive. However, she later managed to buy a new cell phone.
As a result of his alleged actions, Sidora said in the docs, that this has led her to have “a reasonably justified apprehension for her emotional health, and for the mental and emotional health” of their children. With that said, Sidora says she has now “considered filing an application for a Temporary Protective Order” against Pittman and flying with her children to Chicago where they “could feel safe.”
Aside from that, Sidora also details how she’s been financially abused by her ex throughout their marriage and claims he allegedly withdrawn money from her account in recent days!
As wild and unfortunate as this all sounds, Pittman has not yet responded to these claims. However, earlier that Wednesday he did release a statement saying,
“Love is a beautiful thing,” Pittman said. “Unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to move on to our next chapters, independent of each other. Drew and I have decided to file for divorce. We have three amazing young children, and their mindset and growth is what is most important. As we navigate this difficult time, I ask that you please respect our privacy.”
Sidora later shared her own statement with PEOPLE saying, “After eight years of wholeheartedly fighting for my marriage, I have made the agonizing decision to release my husband with love,” she said. “Although Ralph and I have decided to move forward separately, the hope is to remain friends so that we can co-parent responsibly. In spite of our very public life, I am asking for privacy during this difficult time as my children and I learn how to navigate through our new beginnings.”
