Former Deputy Who Helped Teacher Wife Serve Semen-Laced Cupcakes To Students Gets 100 Years For Sex Crimes
After being sued in 2020,, the teacher, identified as Cynthia T. Perkins, was sentenced to 41 years in prison in February 2022.
Perkins pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree rape, production of child pornography, and conspiracy of mingling harmful substances.
Now, the ex-teacher’s husband, 47-year-old former Sheriff’s Deputy Dennis Wallace Perkins, has been sentenced to 100 years for sex crimes of his own.

It’s been reported that Dennis Perkins is expected to spend the rest of his life behind bars after he admitted to a spate of horrific sex crimes — many of which involved young children.
On Tuesday (January 3), the former Livingston Parish Sheriff’s deputy and SWAT commander pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree rape.

Perkins also plead guilty to: two counts of sexual battery of a child; one count of video voyeurism; two counts of production of pornography involving children under the age of 13; and one count of the mingling of harmful substances.
Originally, when Perkins was first arrested back in 2019, he was facing more than 75 criminal charges. However, prosecutors in his case agreed to drop dozens of the counts in exchange for him agreeing to enter a guilty plea.
In addition to his 100 years behind bars, Perkins is now required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
