Cory Hardrict has broken his silence since the surprising news of his divorce from estranged wife Tia Mowry earlier this month. The 42-year-old hopped onto Instagram Live on Monday evening to promote the latest episode of The CW’s “All American: Homecoming,” where he plays Coach Marcus Turner. During the IG Live session, he made sure to let it be known he had nothing but love for his fans, family, and Mowry.
While telling his followers to continue to support the show, Hardrict followed up with some sentimental words, adding, “It’s love, y’all. I love y’all, for real. I love my beautiful family; I love my kids; I love my wife, I love all you guys. Just know that it’s all love, okay? I love you guys, alright?”

As previously reported, Mowry filed for divorce from her husband of 14 years in early October. The actress, who shares son Cree, 11, and daughter Cairo, 4, issued a heartfelt statement on Instagram, saying that while the decision was not easy and not without sadness, she and Hardrict “will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.
“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Mowry expressed. “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
In her divorce filing, Mowry cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the shocking split. A date of separation was not listed in the court documents, but she did request wanting joint physical and legal custody of their two children.
Because the pair had a prenuptial agreement in place when they got married back in 2008, Mowry added in her request to have any spousal support terminated on the grounds of the agreement she had in place with her husband prior to their wedding.

After announcing the news on Instagram, fans went back and looked at a string of Twitter posts Mowry shared just days prior, with one cryptic post reading, “I am love. I will only choose to see love. I hope you will too.”
Then, in another tweet, the “Twitch” star continued, “Reminder: You are enough. You deserve love. And you deserve to be understood for who you truly are.”
