Ahead of Universal Pictures’ highly anticipated film, Bros, we sat down with TS Madison and Miss Lawrence on  how the film Is making a stride in bringing more inclusion for the LGBTQIA community, by creating a universal film that is for every audience.

Bros comes from the comic mind of Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street, 2019’s The Lion King, Difficult People, Impeachment: American Crime Story) and the hitmaking brilliance of filmmakers Nicholas Stoller (theNeighbors films, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Judd Apatow (The King of Staten Island, Trainwreck, The Big Sick), comes Bros, a smart, swoony and heartfelt comedy about finding sex, love and romance amidst the madness.

Starring Billy Eichner, the first openly gay man to co-write and star in his own major studio film, Bros is directed by Nicholas Stoller from his screenplay with Eichner. The film is produced by Judd Apatow, Stoller and Joshua Church (co-producer Trainwreck, Step Brothers). The film is executive produced by Eichner.

We spoke to TS and Miss Lawrence on what it means for a major studio to back a movie a bout two gay men with a cast that is played completely by the LGBTQIA community, setting the standard for future films and the movie studios to also take this step in representation. This is the first time straight actors have also not been casted to play gay actors, which is also a shock that it took this long, but Universal is setting the standard.

We can all relate to the themes, feelings and experiences present in Bros which makes it more than a fun-loving comedy.
